ACS CONNECT provides technicians and end users with the information required for correct machine operation and control in today’s complex mechanical systems.
Revolutionary technology allows us to go beyond the Building Management System interface gateway limitations of a typical machine. Connecting to each component of the chiller on its native network internal to the machine captures large amounts of data in real time rather than relying on a protocol converter or other translator device at the supervisory level. Data point mapping has been compiled with over 400 points per compressor, each point describing specific information useful for status or diagnostics. Simply put, this tool is built for technicians, engineers and analysts to keep systems tuned and running better for longer.
ACS CONNECT also views the supervisory control of the unit. The web interface feature allows for navigating the unitary controller just as if we are standing in-front of the machine. Service software for each component is installed and accessible on the human interface directly, ensuring we have the correct and updated software required on every project. We incorporate precision vibration sensors mounted on the machine to monitor the acoustic signature of the unit. This allows us to not only look at the numerical analog variables of the chiller but also “listen” to the unit. Vibrations and resonant frequencies are repeatable and predictive where system conditions such as surge, stall, carryover or loss of liquid seal can be quickly diagnosed.
